RSA Conference

RSA is over. We learned a lot about clouds. We saw lots of appliances. But only now can the real lesson of RSA be revealed: "Who are the tweeters that tweeted the most?"

For starters, you can see the overall volume of tweet counts at
http://chatterlytics.com/statistics.php?QueryId=35. As of conference close, we've seen 6,388 tweets with the #RSAC tag. There may still be a few stragglers telling the RSAC community "good night" or "see you next year". We'll skip counting them can call it a "rounding error." Those are pretty high-value tweets we're not counting. Oh well.

Next, let's do the rundown for the top 10 tweeters and re-tweeters. Woe to you who beat a company's booth-bots!

TOP 10 TWEETERS:

authorName Tweetcount
TripwireInc (Tripwire, Inc.) 207
rsasecurity (RSA Security) 136
rsaconference (RSA Conference) 69
MichaelMrak (Michael Mrak) 69
cindyv (Cindy Valladares) 56
digiphile (Alex Howard) 53
dspark (David Spark) 47
attritionorg (attrition.org) 47
_Lumension (_Lumension) 41
HackThisOrg (HackThis) 40

One thing that you miss here is that until about the 3rd day of the conference, this list was dominated by twitter bots telling people to visit "booth #NNNN to get a sticker with the company's brand on it!" Now that people have had a chance to go to the bars & parties and then immediately tweet about it, the humans have taken the lead.

Next up: The retweeters! Here's the list of tweeters who had the least to say while tweeting the most:

TOP 10 RETWEETERS:

authorName RETweetcount
HackThisOrg (HackThis) 40
rsasecurity (RSA Security) 36
wolfinpdx (Bryan Green) 27

TripwireInc (Tripwire, Inc.) 17
